Spend an hour or the entire day enjoying the spectacular Glenwood Canyon Recreation Trail winding along the Colorado River through the Glenwood Canyon. Perhaps you will stop along your journey for a hike up to Hanging Lake or a picnic along the riverside and watch the rafters float by… you may even spot some wildlife along the way! We will be happy to help plan your route for an exhilarating trip through one of the most breathtaking canyons in Colorado!!!
We offer only the highest quality bicycle equipment and accessories for your comfort and safety. Helmets are included with each rental. Locks are provided upon request at no charge. Water bottles and refreshments are available at our store. A deposit is required on all rentals.
Select from our inventory of Mountain Bikes in a variety of sizes from youth to large adult, Front Suspension Mountain Bikes, Tandem Bicycles and Child Trailers for the youngest of riders. Rentals are available for just an hour or the entire day. Remember…Rock Gardens is conveniently located right on the Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon with the Bike path running right by our property. Plenty of free parking is available on site.
The Vail Valley and White River National Forest also have numerous bike trails.
To reach White River National Forest, where 4,000 acres of alpine terrain await you, hop on Vails Gondola or Vista Bahn express. There are miles of professionally designed trails.
Vail Associates is also a valuable mountain biking resource. They rent bikes and conduct guided tours.
Mountain bikers will not want to miss the trail maps put out by Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts. These maps will show you all the hotspots to bike within the resorts themselves. Whats more, because the maps are put together using familiar ski symbols—black diamond or blue square—you will be able to locate a level that will suit you.
Scenic jeep tours offer an opportunity to see the backcountry. Three-hour tours journey through panoramic vistas on Red and White Mountain or Benchmark Mountain. Gourmet lunch and dinner tours are among the choices.
